New Woodstock Vol. Fire Dept. to Host Red Cross Blood Drive on Sat. June 30th

On Sat. June 30, 2018 from 9 AM to 1 PM we’ll roll up our sleeves and help save lives! We will proudly partner with the American Red Cross to hold what we expect to be the first of many blood drives. The Red Cross has over 130 years of experience providing humanitarian aid – including more than 70 years of supplying blood to those in need.

Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. We are very excited about the drive and I hope you are too.

An estimated 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Most donations take about an hour, so book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross and the New Woodstock Vol. Fire Department. If you don’t know if you’re eligible, show up to find out. You'll still receive a free T-Shirt! And if you can’t donate blood, we would love to have you as a volunteer at our drive.

If you'd like to see a map to our Fire Station or set an appointment to donate blood at  a certain time, please click on the link button below to be taken to the www.RedCrossBlood.org web site.  Just enter our area code of 13122. Thank You!
